Customer Service Agreement
Effective Date: March 4, 2026
By using BoxBeetle services, the Customer agrees to all terms contained in this Agreement.
1. DEFINITIONS
Package - Any parcel, box, envelope, or item shipped to BoxBeetle for processing or delivery.
Intake Record - BoxBeetle's internal timestamped confirmation showing a package was received, including customer name, account number, tracking number, and intake timestamp.
Final-Mile Delivery Partner - Any third-party carrier contracted by BoxBeetle to complete delivery.
Primary Delivery Location - The designated pickup point, distribution center, or collection office used by the Final-Mile Delivery Partner.
Ocean Freight - Maritime transport provided through BoxBeetle's partner, Get It Ship Shipping Services, for oversized, heavy, or restricted cargo.
Abandoned Package - Any package unclaimed after 30 days.
Storage Fees - Daily charges applied after the free storage period.
Supplemental Insurance - BoxBeetle's secondary insurance coverage, which applies only after the Final-Mile Delivery Partner's primary insurance is exhausted.
Declared Value - The customer-provided value of an item, or the default value of USD $50 if no documentation is provided.
Service Fees - Mandatory charges applied to each package, including the $3.99 service fee and $1.01 insurance fee.
Hazardous Items - Items restricted by U.S. export laws, carrier regulations, or destination-country import laws.
Authorized Communication Channels - BoxBeetle's official WhatsApp number, official email address, or an authorized Final-Mile Delivery Representative.
2. SERVICE OVERVIEW

BoxBeetle operates a courier facilitation service through BoxBeetle.com. Customers ship items to a designated BoxBeetle intake address using a unique account number. BoxBeetle receives packages, processes them, and coordinates final-mile delivery through authorized delivery partners.

3. CUSTOMER ACCOUNT & ONBOARDING
3.1 Account Creation

Customers must create a BoxBeetle account, activate it via email, and use the assigned BoxBeetle U.S. address and account number.

3.2 Accuracy of Customer Information

Customers must ensure correct name, account number, invoices, declared values, and contact information.

4. PACKAGE INTAKE & PROCESSING
4.1 Receipt of Packages

BoxBeetle verifies customer name, account number, and tracking number.

4.2 Condition at Intake

Packages are accepted in the condition delivered by the merchant or carrier.

5. TRANSFER TO FINAL-MILE DELIVERY PARTNERS

Risk of loss transfers to the Final-Mile Delivery Partner upon physical handover. Transfer shall be evidenced by timestamped transfer records, scan confirmation, physical manifest documentation, or partner custody acknowledgment.

6. DELIVERY OPTIONS
6.1 Primary Delivery (Included)

Delivery to the partner's designated pickup location.

6.2 Optional Home Delivery (Additional Fees)

Home or doorstep delivery may incur additional fees.

6.3 Address Changes

Address changes after processing may incur fees and delays.

6.4 Oversized, Heavy, or Hazardous Items

Such items may be shipped via ocean freight through Get It Ship Shipping Services. Customers acknowledge longer transit times, additional fees, and variable delivery timelines.

7. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Customers agree to provide accurate invoices and declared values, pay all fees, ensure accessibility for delivery, and comply with all import laws of the destination country.

10. LIABILITY & INSURANCE
10.1 Final-Mile Partner as Primary Carrier

The partner assumes full responsibility upon transfer.

10.2 BoxBeetle Supplemental Insurance (Secondary)

BoxBeetle's insurance applies only after the partner's insurance is exhausted.

10.3 When BoxBeetle Becomes Primary

Only if BoxBeetle received the package, no transfer record exists, and the partner cannot prove custody.

10.4 Mandatory & Supplemental Insurance Tiers

Each package includes a mandatory $1.01 insurance fee, covering total loss only, for a declared value up to $50. Customers may purchase higher coverage tiers to suit the value of their items:

  • Tier 1: $10.00 fee for coverage up to $400.
  • Tier 2: $20.00 fee for coverage up to $1,000.
10.5 Tier Request & Payment Cutoff

If a customer requests a tier above the basic $1.01 level, the fee must be paid immediately before the item is transferred to the Final-Mile Delivery Partner. If a higher tier is not requested and paid for prior to physical transfer, the customer waives the right to claim any value above the default $50, and the coverage level cannot be upgraded retroactively.

10.6 Payment & Refund Policy

All insurance fees (mandatory and supplemental) are strictly non-refundable once paid.

10.7 Coverage Scope

Coverage applies to total loss only. Coverage does not apply to partial loss, partial damage, cosmetic damage, internal damage, manufacturer defects, or functionality issues.

10.8 Declared Value

Receipts and tracking info may be sent to WhatsApp: +1 (954) 444-0451 or Email: [email protected]. If no documentation is provided, BoxBeetle assigns a default declared value of $50.

10.9 No Liability Without Intake Record

If BoxBeetle has no intake record, BoxBeetle bears no liability.

11. PROHIBITED ITEMS

Prohibited items include firearms, ammunition, explosives, narcotics, cash, perishables, live animals, counterfeit goods, hazardous materials, and items prohibited by U.S. export or destination-country import laws.

12. CUSTOMS & REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

BoxBeetle is not responsible for customs delays, inspections, seizures, rejections, or additional duties or taxes.

14. STORAGE, HOLDING PERIODS & ABANDONMENT
14.1 Free Storage

14 days free.

14.2 Storage Fees

$1.00 per cubic foot per day after day 14.

14.3 Maximum Hold

30 days. After that, packages may be returned at customer expense or disposed of as abandoned.

15. PAYMENT TERMS & NON-PAYMENT
15.1 Payment Due at Pickup/Delivery

All fees must be paid in full.

15.2 No Refunds

There are no refunds on any fees, including service fees and insurance premiums.

15.3 Insurance Payment

Supplemental insurance tiers must be paid in full prior to the package being transferred to the Final-Mile Delivery Partner.

15.4 Authorized Communication

Amounts due will be communicated only through official WhatsApp (+1 (954) 444-0451), Email ([email protected]), or Authorized Final-Mile Delivery Representatives.

20. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Maximum liability is $1,000 per package, regardless of declared value, invoice amount, or shipment contents, provided the corresponding insurance tier was paid. No coverage for partial damage, broken items, electronics not functioning, poor packaging, or consequential damages.

24. FORCE MAJEURE

BoxBeetle shall not be liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond its control, including weather, natural disasters, government actions, or carrier delays.

25. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in Florida.
